Fall colors in the Great Smoky Mountains!
Post written by Cassandra Huang
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts thousands of tourists every season. Compared with others who need to drive for many hours or even take a flight to visit the Great Smoky Mountains, how lucky we are that the breathtaking fall colors are less than 40 miles from us!
However, sometimes we may have a question about when the peak period is, or how the traffic might be to get there. Thanks to the power of Social Studio, we can actually monitor what people say about the fall colors in the mountains.
In terms of volume, we can see how many posts are related to fall colors, and we can also see the photos in the Tweets. As presented in the figure, October 22 had the most Tweets recently, and when we click into the details, we can see someone reported the color changing condition.
On the other hand, we can also get alerts about something that we need to be cautious of. For example, in the negative sentiment analysis, we can see someone unexpectedly encountered with a bear and did not know what to do. That is to say, the social listening summary can not only help us to observe the public’s opinions are on a specific topic, it can also enable us to monitor the instant situation in a popular tourist attraction!
