Holiday Events in Knoxville and Gatlinburg
The holiday season is just around the corner. This holiday season we are almost overwhelmed with all of the holiday-themed fun going on. Knoxville and Gatlinburg have announced the schedules for their Christmas event. It’s time to celebrate!
Lights over Gatlinburg
“Lights Over Gatlinburg” will run from Nov.27 to Jan. 31 at Gatlinburg Skylift Park. This event will transform American’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge into a twinkling archway with thousands of vibrant lights and festive decorations.
“From Christmas trees to carolers and all of the bright lights in between, downtown Gatlinburg is a bucket-list destination for thousands each winter, and we’re thrilled for the SkyBridge to join the stunning skyline this season,” SkyLift Manager Randy Watson said. “Near and far, we want to excite guests with our newest traditions and ensure they make the best holiday memories with their families year after year.”
The SkyCenter will provide hot cocoa and snacks during the “Lights Over Gatlinburg”.
Visitors who bring a new, packaged toy to donate to the Boys&Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains will save $4 on tickets purchased. For more information, please visit the official website: https://www.gatlinburgskylift.com/events/lights

Holidays on Ice
Whether gathering with family or dating friends, skating in the heart of Downtown Knoxville in Market Square is a good choice! Holidays on Ice re-opens on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019. It is a good opportunity to skate under the stars and twinkling lights while listening to music. Nothing will get you ready for the holiday quite like skating in the brisk weather to your favorite Christmas carols.
