Doctoral Student Research support Fund

The Doctoral Student Research Support Fund (DSRSF) assists our doctoral student researchers on projects outside their dissertation work. Funding may be used to assist with costs to conduct research that has been approved by the faculty research supervisor. This fund does not support travel or dissemination of research results. Doctoral students may request a max award of $1000 per fiscal year and the award is capped at $1000 per project over its lifetime. Award application can be made over multiple requests. Receipt of funds is dependent upon approval of advisor and availability of RIC annual funds for this program. RIC will manage the direct expenses.

Submissions that are awarded in June of each year will be available in the NEXT fiscal year (starting July 1)
Awarded funds must be used by June 15 in the fiscal year received
