Faculty Research Innovation Fund
Faculty Research Innovation Fund
The CCI Research & Innovation Center (RIC) Faculty Research Innovation Fund (FRIF) supports faculty in developing and extending their research agenda. Your application must be endorsed by the school director to be considered for funding; when you fill out the form it will be routed to your director for their endorsement.
CCI-based post-doctoral researchers conducting research aligned with their appointment are eligible for funding. Post doctoral researcher applications will be routed to their supervisor for endorsement.
FRIF funding may be used to pay for direct research-related expenses. Travel for data collection or research collaboration network development can be supported. This fund does not support travel to disseminate research results or to serve on boards/committees/other bodies.
Each fiscal year, funding to an individual faculty member is capped at $2000 for direct research costs. Funding will be made to faculty until the Faculty Research Innovation Fund is depleted. RIC will manage the direct expenses.
